The heart of the amazon is the heartbeat of the earth.” In this vein, the heart must be preserved and honored as nature truly is what makes us humans live and thrive. It is to honor the powerful women and medicine represented in the amazon forest, also she brings awareness to the deforestation issues, and destruction of environment and community which thrive on the untouched Amazon forest. I would like to donate a portion of the sales of this painting to an existing non-profit which supports the communities affected by these issues.
