“Angel in the Roses” 16” x 20”.
This is a multi-media painting including spray paint, fabric dye, acrylic paint on a medium weight muslin fabric.
It is inspired by the feeling that our angels are always looking over us, guiding, protecting and aiding us through both difficult or joyful times. Vibrant red roses lovingly create a sacred circle around the Angel as she reaches out a nurturing hand, her wing in white, yellow and gold sparkles under a full moon and deep blue sky.
The grove of stark trees in one fashion represents our feeling isolated in somewhat difficult surroundings and in another it represents our constant connection to nature which serves as a place to find inner solitude so that we can ‘hear’ the angels and accept the help as it is offered.
